FAQS (Frequently Asked Questions) for Coaches
Q. What do I get with 24hourcoach.com (What's in it for the coach?)?
A. As a registered, approved coach you will get to help more people around the world and introduce more people to the wonderful benefits of coaching. As one of our coaches, you can coach from anywhere via an internet connection, and supplement your income by better scheduling your time. You can also hone your coaching skills and get help from other registered coaches with your existing clients. See coach benefits (coach benefits) for additional information.
Q. How and when do I get paid?
A. As a 24houcoach you get paid $10 dollars "standard" for each online coaching response and $40 for each 30 minute coaching phone call. Coaches are paid $85 for each one hour "executive phone" session. Payments are made every 60 days, or once you have coached 10 online coaching sessions or 3 phone sessions. For online coaches only, you will be paid if you are the first coach to respond to a clients' question. We realize that there are some questions that are a perfect match for you, which you'd like to respond to, paid or not. Of course clients are thrilled when they get more than the one answer they expected.
Q. Are there any coach qualifications?
A. Yes, you have to meet at least one of the below criteria and provide a brief summary of your coaching experience in order to become a registered, approved 24hour coach..
1. Already a certified coach
2. Enrolled in a coaching certification program
3. Have at least 5 years of experience coaching executives
4. Have an established coaching business
5. Have over 10 years of consulting with top level executives
Q. Why doesn't 24hourcoach limit coaches to certified coaches only?
A. Because all coaches' responses are rated by the clients, those coaches rating consistently below average will be disallowed from the site, and clients are the ultimate judge of the coaching results. Certified coaches may be allowed to participate in restricted additional24hourcoach services in the future.
Q. How do you reach prospective clients?
A. Prospective clients will be targeted through extensive online marketing efforts and also collaborations with various universities across the country and abroad.
Q. What coaching programs or levels are offered?
A. Clients can get an exposure to coaching for as little as $10 up to $150 for the premium package. Please check additional coaching options in the coaching levels section (view coaching programs).
Q. Will my participation conflict at all with my own coaching business?
A. No. We don't believe there will be any negative consequences from your participation in 24hourcoach. As an approved coach, you will have your own bio section (similar to a website or social networking site), which summarizes all of your coaching expertise. There is full disclosure of all pertinent information (e.g. summary of experience, qualifications, and link to your website), which will allow prospective clients to check out the available in-person coaching services in their geographic area
Q. Who is the target audience?
A. Initially 24hourcoach is trying to reach millennials (recent grads) and human resource professionals. We believe exposure to these two groups will help create a tipping point for the coaching industry.
Q. Is there any minimum participation required?
A. Yes. Although there is no defined number at this point, we do expect all registered coaches to participate in responding to clients questions at some level. Coaches with zero participation after a period of time may be disallowed from the site.
